In his public relations career, Matt has written and placed op-eds for Fortune 500 executives and leading philanthropists and secured coverage in outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times and KCBS.
As a reporter and editor, Matt has covered finance, real estate, infrastructure, the business of Hollywood, China/U.S. economic relations as well as the emergence of new digital-first players. Matt has broken stories including the collapse of Wanda Group’s deal to acquire Dick Clark Productions and been a finalist for LA Press Club awards for investigative journalism and commentary. Prior to his journalism career, Matt was a private equity analyst in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
